Scenery:Getting Started

To get started making scenery for Silent Wings, you need the scenery generation tools. These are currently only available for linux and can be downloaded here:

http://download.silentwings.no/devtools/terrain_tools_lnx-070107.tgz

You will need the following software packages to run these tools. (They are available for most major linux distros, if not,you can compile from source).

• GDAL: http://remotesensing.org/gdal/
• PROJ4: http://proj.maptools.org/
• libgeotiff: http://remotesensing.org/geotiff/geotiff.html
